Join us in a Virtual Workshop where you will create a sign you love with a creative leader, Sara, and her co-leader for the workshop, Linda. Sara will lead you step by step through the sign making process. A supply list will be provided a week before the session so you can follow along and make a sign you will be proud to hold or wear. Each workshop will address one specific sign type. Attend all three so you have a sign collection to vary and/or share with friends. After the workshop series, perhaps you can lead a sign making session yourself with friends and family. The signs we create are a reflection of our resistance to this administration and our hopes and dreams for the future.

WORKSHOP I: MAKE A SIGN ON FOAM CORE WITH PAINT PENS AND ADD A GRAPHIC THAT EMODES YOUR MESSAGE. In this workshop, you will choose a message that is most important to you. Sara will demonstrate techniques for lettering, drawing, or selecting a graphic that resonates with your message. If one of the graphics provided does not meet the moment, Linda will search online for you and send you the graphic to print/use. If you do not have a printer, we will show ways you can print the graphics and then apply.  After this workshop, you will have the techniques and tools to finish your sign and share at the next Sign Workshop or take a picture and send to CTD to share. You will leave the workshop with a draft you create of your sign message, graphic, and technique you will use to complete the sign. Sign up today!
