Workshopping Your Letter to the Editor - Pacific Time

Last week, we held a workshop on how to write a letter to the editor, utilizing the method of sharing your personal story with the broader world. The technique taught was developed by Marshall Ganz, who had organized for many years with Cesar Chavez and the Farmworker Movement. Now, we are coming back to workshop our letter - weaving our personal stories with the broader story of us and the story of now. Here is the presentation from the first workshop: PRESENTATION

Letters to the Editor of local and national newspapers can be a powerful way to make your voice heard. LTEs are the most-read section of the newspaper, and when you get one published, you share your thoughts and opinions with a broad audience. Come to this workshop and workshop your letter. We will help participants weave their concerns into a personal story, a story of us, and a story of now. Join Us!
