ACTIVISM 201: THE ONE-ON-ONE CONVERSATION - Pacific Time

When new people want to take action for the first time it can be daunting. An easy way to introduce someone to the work is through a one-on-one conversation. What is their passion? What drives them to action? How would they like to be involved? Having a one-on-one conversation with a new person in the group is an important tool to get to know them, what drives them, and what values you both share, and it lets you know how they want to be involved.

There is an art to having a one on one conversation that revolves around deep listening to what is important to the person you are engaging, what they are passionate about, and how they can best find their lane in the work to create change.

You can use one on ones with your friends and family and those who share your values and who may want to be active. All it takes sometimes for someone to make the leap to action is being asked!

Come learn the art of having a one-on-one conversation in this interactive workshop!
