FEDERAL IMMIGRATION COURT PRESENCE

This Tuesday, we are meeting at 9am to see if we can fill the courthouse for an Immigration Hearing for David, father of two small children. You can bring signs of support (must be hand held) into the courthouse. Only 30 people can enter the courthouse. The rest of us will be at a Honk and Wave to support David and the entire immigrant community. Volunteers will gather with CTD in front of the Concord Federal Immigration Court to serve as a welcoming, non-disruptive presence to deter ICE, show our support for immigrants, and initiate rapid response if needed. We will peacefully carry signs, observe, document, film, and report ICE activity if there is any. Our purpose is to make sure our immigrant community knows we support their rights and care about what happens to them. We will be showing, not only immigrants who show up for a hearing, but to the entire community of concord through a honk and wave in addition to the court presence.

Join us at at 1855 Gateway Blvd. # 850, Concord, CA. A CTD leader will greet you, review the program, and provide you a sign if you need one. Sign up today and be a part of this new program for Immigrant Support at CTD.
