FEDERAL IMMIGRATION COURT PRESENCE

On Tuesday David will have his court hearing. He is an immigrant from Mexico and has been here since he was a child. He is married with two small children. We are targeting to have 30 people inside the court and 30 more on the street for a honk and wave to support him and his request to extend his VISA. To be one of the 30 inside the court, you need to show up at 9 am. For the Honk and Wave, it will start at 10 am when court begins.

Gather with CTD inside and in front of the Concord Federal Immigration Court to serve as a welcoming, non-disruptive presence to deter ICE, show our support for immigrants, and initiate rapid response if needed. We will peacefully carry signs, observe, document, film, and report ICE activity if there is any. Our purpose is to make sure our immigrant community knows we support their rights and care about what happens to them. We will be showing, not only immigrants who show up for a hearing, but to the entire community of concord through a honk and wave in addition to the court presence.

Join us at at 1855 Gateway Blvd. # 850, Concord, CA. A CTD leader will greet you, review the program, and provide you a sign if you need one. Sign up today and be a part of this new program for Immigrant Support at CTD.
